In this interactive workshop, Danielle Brown, Ph.D. guides participants in a holistic and multi-layered approach to achieving social justice in music. An exercise in self-awareness, participants will examine their motives for wanting to achieve social justice in music—particularly with respect to race—and how those motives influence outcomes for marginalized people. Bring writing utensils, a positive attitude, and an honest spirit. Fee: $50. Space is limited. Register now.
