From Cuba to Panamá

They say when life throws you lemons, make lemonade. And that’s precisely what we are doing. Unfortunately, due to recent changes in circumstances in Cuba, we have decided to reroute our tour of Havana, Cuba to Panama. Although it’s not Cuba, we could not be happier to visit Panama - a country with a rich culture and history. From its famed Panama Canal - whose construction led to many Caribbean nationals traveling there to work and eventually settle - to the beauty of its natural landscape, Panamá is a place with countless sights to see, stories to hear, and things to do. So, if Cuba was not your speed, Panama just might be. Read on to learn more or register now.

VIRTUAL OPEN HOUSE. Join us on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 7PM - 8PM EST for an open house where we’ll answer all your trip-related questions. Click here to register.

Trip Overview

From our base in Panama City, we will explore this bustling capital, including its historic district - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - and the Panama Canal. We’ll hear stories from locals, while enjoying Panamanian cuisine during a walking food tour. We’ll take day trips to the nearby town of Portobelo and to Valle de Anton - a village located in the crater of an inactive volcano. With each step, we’ll learn more about the Panamanian people and their culture. And don’t worry, we’'ll make time to relax on one of Panama’s many pristine beaches.
