City Council Presentation for Caribbean American Heritage Month

June has been federally designated as Caribbean American Heritage Month. In conjunction with Friends of Culture, Dr. Brown will be making a presentation to the New Orleans City Council on the steelband tradition of Trinidad and Tobago. The presentation will be followed by a steelpan performance by Bayou Steel Youth Orchestra, led by steelpan maestro Mr. Reynold Kinsale.
